Fresh Teal

Before writing this post, I was choosing which polish to show for like half an hour : ) The problem is that I have >1 giga of swatched polishes and manicures, so I was really confused what to pick. In the end I thought that it's been a while since I posted a teal colour, so here we go, and not just teal, but Fresh Teal by Milani.

The tricky thing you should know about this polish and the whole neon line of Milani is that they are NOT the same colour with the bottle. You can see it on all the pictures, and you better google some swatches before buying these polishes. In case of Fresh Teal it didn't disturb me, I like both the colour of the bottle and the real colour on my nails.

Otherwise, Fresh Teal is a gorgeous creme inbetween blue and green, depending on the light and your skin tone you will see more blue or more green on your nails. The formula is great too, on all the photos there's only 1 coat applied, no top coat. I won this polish in a giveaway of Stickers, so I'm now using the chance to say thanks to her : )

And an epic stamping fail. I should have been more careful with the black stamping polish:

Do you have your favourite teal? : ) I'm still in search of mine..

V

Here it is, this day again. Never in my life have I spent it snogging with a guy in a cafe with a bunch of roses lying on the table, or watching dramatically cute pink movie and eating heart-shaped chocolates that he [impersonal] presented me. Not even in the last 3 years that I have a boyfriend - he comes from a funny land where they only celebrate start and end of all wars possible, but not St. Valentines. When I was 15, I used to stress about it, but after 20 I don't care anymore. Still, for me it's a nice day because I see happy couples all around, and a depressing one, because I'm out of all that. Hence, the manicure. Pinky base but still black roses.

Products used:
Base polish: Essie Guchi Muchi Puchi (3 coats)
Konad image plate: m65
Stamping polish: Konad Black

Hopefully you'll be spending this day in a much better way than me - this post turned out way more depressive than I planned it, but ok, at least you'll finally see some other mood of mine than eternal world-loving optimism. Hehe : )

Otherwise, HAPPY ST. VALENTINE'S DAY

Kelly Psychedelly

It's not that often that I'm in the mood for such colours, but sometimes I feel like having grey and muddy nails. Painted with Zoya Kelly, for example.

Nothing much to say, it's all been said and described. Dark grey creme with a dusty touch, covers the nails perfectly in 1 coat, although there are 2 on the pictures. Perfection, if you are okay with the colour. I was, it looked pretty stylish on short nails =)

Later, when I fully enjoyed the pure colour for some days I stamped it with a kinda psychedelic Konad pattern that I never used before:

What do you think about such colours? Cool and trendy or just too gloomy?

Bongiorno, ladies!! Be prepared for a long post loaded with pictures, it's my way to make up for irregular blogging :)

Recently I thought that it's unfair that I haven't shown you one of my top polishes - Zoya Andi, although I used it 3 (!) times already and even did one tape mani with it. So, why do I like it so much? Because it's a great red shade (although it's 1 tone brighter than my "ideal red" is), very workable formula and.. 1 coater. Red-y To Go should be it's name or smth like that : )

Yes yes, one coat! :) Warning: in 2 coats it looks darker. And chips less, of course.

And because (as you might know already) I adore black+red combination, I stamped it with black roses pattern:

What do you think? Too banal or rather ok? =)

Bad Story With A Good Polish

Each of us has a sad story to tell about online shopping, right? Well, my turn!

Around a year ago at the very outset of my polish addiction I was browsing ebay in search of nice polishes. So I came across the auction with Dior Divinely Pink, thinking "wow, I can get a high-end polish for a low price! Why not??". And I did. I payed a couple of euros and got the pack with the polish. It all looked perfect, until some time has passed and I actually noticed that the polish described as "new" or "used x1" - don't remember exactly, but I only buy polishes with this description - has settled down in the bottle and turned out to be almost finished!! Just look and compare:

These 2 pictures show how the bottle looks like when well shaken and when not. I didn't use the polish inbetween, honestly.
The "lovely girl" who sold this polish as new can have the whole scope of negative vibrations from my side. To put it very diplomatically, khem.

Meanwhile the polish itself is pretty nice: calm dark rose shade with golden shimmer. Being a huge fan of golden shimmer (I really think it makes any colour beautiful), I totally liked it, although the application was difficult - the polish got thick already...

And some stamping of course, because I'm not sure if I am able to use this polish again, cuz there's only a little left in the bottle...

Girls, did you have any bad experience with online shopping? I'd be glad if you share!
If you posted about it - feel free to drop links in the comments!

Pink Delight!

- this is how this polish should be called! So juicy, fruity, vivid, glossy, you_name_it - I didn't even expect I'll like it so much. Nevertheless, originally it's just KIKO 288, or Rosa Fenicottero, if to check the KIKO website. Great application in 2 coats, fast drying and the colour...mmm I'm just in love with it!

And some "not the best in my life" stamping:

Wrapping Paper Nails

Seriously, the konading I did to my previous manicure reminds me of a gift paper : ) I tried this pattern for the first time (because my nails length was proper) and I loved it : ) It's just sweet, no?

Just for the note, it's stamped with American Apparel Berry. AAs are great for konadding, as any other heavily pigmented polishes. AA Berry swatches are coming soon, too! =)

Have a nice week!

V-Mani

Not very inventive, I know, but still looks nice. What do you think?

I hope that at least looking at my mani my precious bf will remember about Valentine's day hehe =)
