Going Festive: Christmas Is Here!

Well, almost. But I anyway couldn't wait to open the bottle of China Glaze Party Hearty which I was lemming since last Christmas and got only this summer!! Half a year of wanting and half a year of waiting for the right time to wear it. So, it's now!

As you can see, it's China Glaze Party Hearty layered over Wet'n'Wild Caribbean Frost, a green pearly metallic, both applied in 1 coat. I really like this manicure, but what it misses is the snow around. I'm so glad that at least for New Year's Eve I'll be in the country where there MUST be snow at this time. Otherwise I'll start having psychological problems : )
Besides,

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all those who celebrate it today!

Snow. Wanted.

You will probably think that I'm crazy but I desperately want some snow around. The more the better. Because I was born in a place where there was more than enough of it, starting from late September : ) Now that I'm here, with +12 degrees outside on the 1st of December.. it just turns me melancholic. So I thought ok, no snow in real life - let's do it on nails : )

This combination which reminds me sparkling snowy surroundings under the sunny clear winter sky is done with IsaDora Blue Sky (yes yes, exactly!!) covered by Wet'n'Wild Kaleidoscope. The beauties were sent to me in swaps with Miss Jones and Carolina - thank you so much ladies : )

The base polish by itself surprised me positively. I was postponing to try out this cute pearly light-blue shade because of the scary sign on the bottle - "WIDE BRUSH". You know that I hate OPI brushes, but... I totally liked IsaDora's one!!! Amazingly it was exactly one-stroke-application, with me being able to draw a nice curve near cuticles. I'm puzzled.

The formula was fine too, 2 nonproblematic coats, happy end. And you don't really see the brush strokes (which I was afraid of) unless you're maniacally looking for them with a magnifying glass.

I'd love to hear your opinion on IsaDora, girls! What do you think about this brand? The brush?

Office Office

Sorry to bore you with the office theme again, but after showing a polish called Office which is (in my opinion) a totally unsuitable name regarding its colour, today I'm posting about real office-friendly polish.
Now that's the king (or queen) of aaaall office polishes ever known: Orly Super Natural. Just look: light pink, frosty, almost invisible on nails. All that together with great quality (2 coats, fast drying, long lasting). Only one big dislike: brush strokes!! Beh, hate them.

Still too boring colour for me. Looks much better with some noname (Florence 01) pretty topper-layer:

*camera freaking out with red/green balance*

Super Natural was bought in pre-blogging period or at a very early already blogging stage. Mainly because of the price of 3 Euros on ebay : ) My thoughts then: "Orly = great quality. Colour doesn't really matter."
By the way, my next post will be about polishes which I was wearing long before my nail mania broke out. So be ready to see some weird brands and colours!

Master Nails

Ha, you can interpret the header in many ways, but what I mean is that these manicure is different from all previous ones because it is done by a person with a Master degree : ) By me. I finally submitted my thesis and graduated yesterday. For this reason I was posting so rarely lately, I was extremely busy. I still am, but the main headache is gone. Okay, now to the nails:

For my G-day (graduation, that is) I was wearing Color Club Pretty In Platinum topped with China Glaze Fairy Dust. Together with black dress it looked pretty, indeed.

Pretty in Platinum wasn't as good as I expected, to be honest, mostly because of visible brush strokes. I didn't even make swatches of it alone, I'll revert to that some other time.

On the last pic I managed to catch the magnificent spakles of Fairy Dust. I just love this holoshine, it's amazing!!
