Souvenir Eggs

Me here again with an "egg" polish! :) Another creation of the Russian brand El Corazón - #423/106 from their "Souvenir Eggs" collection. Seriously, how can such simple things as eggs inspire someone that much so as to create a whole nail polish collections? Well, if we recall the Faberge wizard, maybe it doesn't seem impossible anymore.. :) 

Unlike its "Easter Eggs" sisters (I showed 2 shades here), El Corazón "Souvenir Eggs" #423/106 has glitters of two colours instead of one - smaller black and larger silver hexagonal glitter. The base colour is mint semi-jelly - a warmer shade of light green. 

The texture of the polish is just great, it applied nicely in 2 coats and dried pretty fast - I didn't even use the top coat. To be honest, I always avoid top-coating if I can : )  

The bottle is the standard one of the brand. By the way, "active bio-gel" formula is supposed to fortify your nails! Honestly speaking, I can't report on any effect just because my nails are very thick by themselves, but I've read several reviews stating that it actually works! 

Generally, I think that this is a nice shade for all seasons, although the pastel green whispers spring : )

Kaleidoscope Thermo t-02 by El Corazón

Traditionally, I will ask you: what's the difference between the polish on the left and on the right ? :)

This time it's easy to guess, because the colour change palette is drawn on the bottle cap :) Yes, yes, a thermopolish: El Corazón Kaleidoscope t-02. 

Unusual is the colour transition range: from light salad green (when warm) to warm rosy mauve (when cold). We all have seen pink-to-purple and blue-to-violet thermos, but this? Oh, and the polish also has nice golden shimmer, which I adore so much :) 

The colours seem to be brighter under the sun, and what I like a lot is that these shades do not make my hands look red, although they easily could.

And so the colour change begins, slightly tinting the nail tips with pink...

...and converting them into the funky french manicure :)

The polish is extremely temperature sensitive - unlike other thermos I have. That means that the colour changes immediately once a cold/hot water drop falls on your nail, although most of the time you will be observing a smooth colour gradation on your hands.

As a conclusion I'd like to say that even if it was not a thermo polish, I would still buy it and wear it with pleasure. Besides, the application was just flawless in 2 coats, it's one of those polishes that you can apply with your eyes closed.

Actually, indoors the "cold' colour looks almost nude on me! A nice rosy nude with stunning golden shimmer!

Green Chai

Really, really I couldn't wait to show you this polish! Firstly, because it's a cool one and secondly because it's a part of a limited edition, and after it's sold out the swatches won't be so important anymore. All the fuss today is about Manhattan 07S Green Chai from Style Proof Blogger Edition LE.

Manhattan Green Chai is composed of light green creme base and small multicolour glitter particles. The consistency of the polish reminds me of a sour cream with sugar, it's pretty thick but you have to be careful to spread it evenly on the nails without bold spots. For me, 2 coats were enough to do so. Photos are without top coat. The surface of the polish is not very gritty, but those who don't like it may sink it in a top coat.

I fell for these pretty glitter dots immediately after seing Maki's swatches, you can also see great pictures of it in Natalia's blog. It took me 2 days running around dm's, Rossmanns and Karstadts in Frankfurt and Berlin before I finally got it...
