Ninja Giveaway Win + Swap #14

Lately I am being quite lucky in winning things *knock knock knock*. Actually, I win different stuff intermittently, couple of times per year or so. However, this time my winning of a giveaway on Good Lack, Nail! blog came as a total surprise. I was all in work and suddenly baaam, an e-mail "hey, you won a giveaway"... what could be nicer? :)

After a couple of mails from the owner of Good Lack, Nail!, Caroline (check her manicures and especially "how I wore it" posts!!), we decided to turn it all into a swap ;) Unbelievable, how many lemmings of mine she killed with one parcel! Let's have a look:

Ninja nail polish
Ninja polishes: my giveaway win! :D
Left to right:
Ninja Polish Ambrosia
Ninja Polish Shillelagh
Ninja Polish Divinity

And all the rest is already the "swap" part!
Left to right:
BB Couture Love Bug
China Glaze Angel Wings
OPI Dutch Tulips

Left to right:
Zoya Rory
Love&Beauty Gold
Essie Watermelon

Revlon Princess
                                                      Revlon Princess               Caroline's Franken called Kaffeeklatsch

As always, when I receive a huge nail mail I get lost and choose for hours which polish to wear first. Especially in this case, when I got like half of my wish list in one pack... but I decided to try Caroline's creation as as my first choice, so meet the pink Kaffeeklatsch!

Kaffeeklatsch

Kaffeeklatsch Nagellack

Kaffeeklatsch is a bright pearly pink with pink shimmer and hexagonal glitters, I also saw a couple of heart-shaped glitters there. You know that I'm not a fan of frosty finish, but when I applied Kaffeklatsch onto my nails, I liked how it looked! Somehow it was not streaky, and all in all looked so.. merry! :)

Kaffeeklatsch

By the way, Kaffeeklatsch means gathering together for a coffee and chatting - in case you were wondering :) Nice and unusual name for a franken, I reckon. All these "blue my mind" and "mellow/yellow/fellow" drive me crazy already lol

Besides that I'm truly madly happy with what I received, I want to say a huge THANK YOU to Caroline!!! I really enjoy what I got! :)

Surprise Pack from Belarus!

Back in December (great blogger I am, I know *sigh*) I got a parcel that was both a giveaway win and a surprise pack at the same time. One of the nail bloggers that I follow for a long time, Tatiana, decided to organise a spontaneous giveaway and just award two followers who comment the most. I happened to be one of the lucky girls, and some weeks later I received a pack - and I had no idea about its content! :)

See, Tatiana lives in Belarus, and she decided to send a full box of local Belarusian goodies! I mean, how amazing is the concept of showing other bloggers the best of the local products!! Here I totally bow down to her idea :)
In the parcel I got 2 face masks: Belita algae-based, and BelKosmex moisturising with hyaluronic acid and vitamins; a cuticle eraser (a soft cuticle remover) and a nail polish from the brand Viteks (orig. Вiтекс).

I have to say that I totally loved the face masks and the cuticle treatment, and - who would doubt - I adore the nail polish! The only Belarusian creation in my stash and quite a bright shade - Viteks Passion Dance (orig. Biтекс Танец Страсти) has gained my sympathy from the first stroke!

Viteks Passion Dance is a cold-hued red/crimson semi-jelly meaning that it's more liquid than creme and way more glossy. Application did not cause any problems: 2 coats and a great thin brush attached. I did have a feeling that it dries longer than expected, but I was in a hurry anyways and could have an inadequate perception of time. Top coat application eliminated that concern :)

I liked the bright crimson shade a lot, and I had nothing similar in my stash as I normally grab darker red tones. Amazingly, this one suited me well, and it also works great for pedicure! :)

Oh, how I love surprise packs!! :) One more time I'd like to thank Tatiana - check her nice blog by the way! - for sending me all these wonderful things!
Yay for nail polish international community! :D

Post of Joy

Just wanted to share my joy with you : ) Last month I won a giveaway at Sonidlo's blog - I'm sure you all know her for her fabulously neat and pretty swatches! As a prize I got a chance to choose some products of Bioeden shop, which mostly sells bio and organic products, from cosmetics to food and what not. So, after three days of browsing their whole assortment, I finally made my mind and almost learnt Czech. And here is what arrived:

I put a Zoya polish so that you could see how HUGE was the box!! Starting to unwrap: a lot of bubbles and paper : )

Beauties, unpacked. As bio as it can be : )

Upper row, left to right:
Urtekram Rose Shampoo
Lavera Faces Aloe Vera Cleansing Milk
Lavera Hair Rose Milk Repairing Hair Conditioner
(I love rose scent, in case you don't know yet :)
Lavera Faces Calendula Cleansing Gel
(tried it already, it smells so natural and delicious!!
And it works perfectly mild for dry skin)
Lavera Hair Styling Gel
(a musthave for curlies)
Lower row, left to right:
A lot of Lavera testers
Coconut Oil
Bio Coffee Sachets
(drank them at work, quite nice coffee!)
And the polish part... It was not supposed to be there, but Sona was superkind: she had a look at my wishlist and enclosed 2 extra polishes, which were... some of my biggest lemmings of all times!!!!!!!!!!!

Left to right:
RBL Diddy Mow (my first RBL bottle (and box) ever!!)
China Glaze Frosty (how many hours I spent in online shops and evilbay hunting it!!)

What can I say? Firstly, thanks a million to you, Sona : ) I have been reading your blog for ages, and I was so glad to find out that I'm a winner, especially on my birthday : ))) Secondly, these producuts are a real treasure to me, because I'm becoming a fan of natural/organic cosmetics more and more, in particular in my hair care. You see, for some time now I'm trying to follow a Curly Girl Method (my curly readers might find it interesting, esp. "before and after pics"), and the Nr.1 rule there is no SLS, silicons, parabens etc. So that's why I'm so excited about trying these!! And of course, await the swatches of the polishes, one of them I tried immediately, but I'd try both if only I had 2 pairs of hands : )

Giveaway Alert + Random Swatch

[1] I just wanted to remind you that my piCture pOlish giveaway is closing in around 20 hours, so those who didn't entered yet - you are very welcome to do so! : ) Don't miss the chance to win 3 lovely piCture pOlish shades!!

[2] Addressing to followers: Breigh, kaderkismet and Nora.
Ladies, this giveaway ONLY includes piCture pOlish lacquers, and NOT Ozotic shades. Please reenter, I'll delete your previous entries and add the new ones.

[3] Just browsing all my tonns of unpublished swatches, I decided to show you this one:

Essie Cute As A Button. Don't be scared, these are my old good HELL LONG nails!!! The swatch is about half a year old, and I remember one thing: I was really dissatisfied with the polish. The formula was so-so (3 coats), but the most irritating thing was that it looked really different in the bottle than on the nails (donno if it's visible on the picture)! I expected a complex creme coral shade, and what I got is a boring orange neon. You see this cool gloss on the pic? It disappeared after 5 minutes. And the boring orange neon became half-matte cheap looking boring orange neon. Chipping fast, by the way. Boo, Essie! : (

Giveaway Winner

It took me long, I'm awfully sorry. But straight to the point now, the winner iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis.....

PERIPATETIC33

Congratulations!!!
I sent you an e-mail with all the details already.

Thanks to all 159 of you for participating! I loved browsing your blogs and reading the answers. If I could afford it, I would do giveaways much more often, cuz it's such fun!! By the way, another one is coming up soon, very soon ; )

~~~~
If you remember, I asked you to tell me which is your favourite polish ever. For many of you it was difficult, (one of my readers, Biberlee, said that "it's like asking a mother which child does she like the most"), and I totally agree! We all have a lot of favourites! But still. Here something to have a look at. The winners among YOUR favourite polishes : )
(number in brackets) - number of people who chose this polish
2+2+2 Giveaway is now CLOSED!
Extraquick post to announce that the 2+2+2 giveaway is now closed. I won't count any entries more. I'll draw the winner with random.org during the next days. Thank you all for entering and I wish good luck to each of you, ladies : )
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

And also an extraquick ooooold swatch of a polish with a very inspiring name: Essie Eternal Optimist. Just in case some of my readers prefer long nails to the short ones : ) To be honest, it's very weird to look at the pics where my nails have this seemingly immense length, I think I prefer their current state... Anyways, to the polish:

Pinkish nude creme, a bit tricky application (3 coats), but a pleasant colour. As far as I remember it needs a TC, otherwise it will get all scrathed and dimpled (there's no TC on the photos though). I'm not all amazed by this polish, but I'd like to keep it in my collection. Nice nudes are always useful after all.

222 = 2 + 2 + 2 [GIVEAWAY CLOSED]

222 is a nice number, very mm harmonic and simmetric : ) Moreover, it's a LOT, especially in regard to the number of followers!!! And of course a good excuse to thank them all with a little giveaway!

I spent some time thinking of how to organize this giveaway so that it would be interesting for every each of my lovely 222 readers, because tastes do differ and I cannot adjust to all at once.. But what I decided is to make this giveaway flexible, so the winner can more or less choose the prise herself. So, someone lucky will get:

2 x Catrice polishes of your choice
2 x Essence polishes of your choice
2 x P2 polishes of your choice

Now, how does that sound? : )
To make it even more flexible, the winner can make up ANY combinations, e.g. 4 Catrice + 1 P2 + 1 Essence or 6 P2 or whatever. And of course you can choose ANY polishes of the assortiment, including crackles, toppers, treatments, even the current LE's if I can get them : )
It's all your choice, ladies!

The rules are very simple:
1) Be a public GFC follower and leave me your follower name and e-mail in the form below => +1 entry
2) Spread the word somehow (twitter, blog, etc.) => +5 entries
3) Answer the question in the form (I'll publish the results :) => +2 entries

Voila! : )
Entries ONLY via FORM!
The giveaway is for all the followers and is open internationally till 15th of August.

Aaaand Douze Points Go Toooooooo......

PORTUGAL!

Okay, I don't remember if Portugal ever won Eurovision, but someone from Portugal has just won my giveaway :)

The winner is Akuma Kanji, who is a nail art blogger as well, check her blog if you haven't done so yet! For me it's a joy that she has won, because she's one of my very first followers and most frequent commentators. So I do believe it's destiny :)
I've just sent her an email and hope to hear back soon.

Thank you all for entering!

As you know, that's my first giveaway experience, and I should say it was fun indeed :) :) If I could afford it, I'd host giveaways every week or so :)
This giveaway was to celebrate 50 followers, but now seems that I'll have to do another to celebrate 100! I'm so glad and pleased that my blog is growing, really, and I thank all my readers who give me inspiration and drive for new posts!

Some news: I was speaking about the changes. The first and major one is that from now on my blog is going to be in English :) I hope you don't mind. Neither it will be a problem for my German followers, I guess. Although none of these languages is my mother tongue, English is a lot easier for me to use - with all love and respect for German. So be prepared for long English spam posts hehe =)
